No. Your document privacy is absolute. The heading scans and word calculations occur directly in your browser using local Web APIs. The stamp injection is compiled completely in-memory on our server. We never save files to disk and discard all buffers immediately after the download stream finishes.
We divide the document into sections based on your selected headings. The word count for a section is the sum of word counts of the pages that lie between that heading and the subsequent one. Using a customizable reading speed (default is 238 words per minute, the standard adult reading pace), we estimate the duration and round it up.
Yes! You can choose to position the stamp in either the Top-Right or Top-Left header area of each section page. It is positioned with clean margins so it looks like part of the original layout.
We offer three styles: Minimal (simple gray text above the header with a small vector timer), Badge (a professional light-blue rounded pill container with dark-blue text), and Inline (right-aligned italic text offset by a thin horizontal border line).
