Once you select a file, PDF.js loads the document inside your browser. The tool scans every line in the text extraction layer for common placeholder strings like "Lorem Ipsum", "TBD", bracketed labels like "[Insert Name]", and underscore lines "____".
If you have a repeated placeholder across multiple pages (e.g. "[Client Name]"), you can enter it in the Bulk Replace sidebar tool. Type your replacement text, click Apply, and it will fill in all matching placeholders across the entire PDF at once.
